To protect your inventory and ensure shipments are released only to the correct carrier, we require a PRO Number to be provided and verified at the time of pickup. Please follow the steps below based on whether you arrange your own freight or use Handled-arranged freight.
Step 1: Create a Manual Order
When creating a manual shipment order in our system, you must include a PRO Number in the Shipping Details screen.

Step 2: If You Arrange the Freight
Provide the PRO Number to your carrier. This must match the PRO Number you entered into our system.
The driver must present the exact PRO Number at pickup.
We cannot release product to a driver without the matching PRO Number.
Step 3: If Handled Arranges the Freight
Handled will provide the assigned PRO Number directly to the carrier.
Even in this case, drivers are required to present the PRO Number at pickup.
This ensures your shipment is only released to the authorized carrier.
Additional Security Measures
For certain shipments—especially those that are high-value or sensitive—our team may also log the driver’s license number and vehicle license plate number at the time of pickup.
