The Transaction History Report gives you a detailed view of past inventory transactions in your Handled account. This report is useful when you need to review granular inventory activity, including when inventory was received, moved, adjusted, picked, packed, or shipped.
It is also one of the best reports to use when you need to trace which inventory was used for a specific shipment, including batch, lot, and expiration date details when those fields are being tracked for your products.
How to Access the Transaction History Report
- Go to your Handled dashboard:

- Click Transaction History Report.
What the Report Shows
The Transaction History Report provides a detailed record of inventory transactions in your account. Depending on the transaction type, the report may include information such as:
- SKU
- Inventory location
- Transaction date and time
- Transaction type
- Quantity moved or adjusted
- Order or shipment reference
- Lot or batch number, if applicable
- Expiration date, if applicable
Using the Report for Lot, Batch, and Expiration Tracking
If your products are configured to track lot, batch, or expiration date information, and that information was provided when the inventory was received, Handled stores inventory by the specific SKU, lot/batch, and expiration date combination.
When orders are shipped, Handled tracks which inventory location the units were picked from. Because inventory locations are tied to the applicable lot, batch, and expiration date details, the Transaction History Report can help you identify which shipments used specific inventory.
This can be especially helpful for:
- Reviewing which orders shipped from a specific lot or batch
- Supporting recall research
- Confirming expiration-dated inventory usage
- Auditing inventory movement over time
- Investigating inventory discrepancies
Report Date Range
The Transaction History Report is limited to the past 90 days of data.
