Handled supports Faire orders through your Shopify connection.
If you sell on Faire and want Handled to fulfill those orders, you will need to connect Faire to Shopify first. Once Faire orders flow into Shopify, Handled can receive and fulfill them through your existing Shopify integration.
Step 1: Connect Faire to Shopify
Follow Faire’s instructions for connecting Faire to Shopify:

This connection allows Faire orders to sync into Shopify, where they can then be imported into Handled for fulfillment.
Step 2: Confirm Your SKUs Match
Before sending Faire orders to Handled, make sure the SKUs in Faire match the SKUs in Shopify.
This is important because Handled uses your Shopify SKUs to identify the correct products to pick, pack, and ship. If the SKUs do not match, Faire orders may fail to import correctly or may not map to the correct inventory.
Please confirm that:
- Each product in Faire has a SKU.
- The Faire SKU matches the corresponding Shopify SKU exactly.
- Spelling, punctuation, spacing, and capitalization are consistent.
- Product variants also have matching SKUs.
Step 3: Tell Handled About Any Special Faire Requirements
If your Faire orders require different handling than your regular DTC Shopify orders, please contact Handled before launching.
This includes any special requirements such as:
- Different packing slips
- Faire-specific inserts or packaging
- Different shipping methods
- Different order rules
- Special labeling or carton requirements
- Any other fulfillment requirements that are different from your standard Shopify orders
Handled may need to set up rules to properly identify and process your Faire orders separately from your regular Shopify orders. If these rules are not configured before launch, Faire orders may be fulfilled using your standard Shopify order settings.
Step 4: Test Before Launching
After Faire is connected to Shopify, we recommend confirming that a Faire order appears correctly in Shopify before you begin sending Faire orders to Handled for fulfillment.
